remedies

Some patients like to add herbal therapies, exercise regimes, supplements etc to the main work that is done by Manual Lymphatic Drainage. This is not a requirement, or a prescription. However I have added this list here purely for your reading pleasure so that you might consult other appropriately qualified practitioners for further guidance.

Caution:  I advise you to contact your General Practitioner in the first instance, to check that a remedy that you are interested in will not just be of benefit to you, but that it will not be harmful.

After that it is quite simple – please do not self-medicate!

Reading about these natural remedies does not constitute either a prescription from me or a promise of a cure. You are a unique individual with a complex body that has subtle responses to everything that you ingest or do to it. I cannot stress highly enough how important it is for you to have the utmost respect for the profound effects (both welcome and also undesired) that natural remedies can have on your body. A good Naturopath should be able to prescribe a natural remedy or combination of them in a dose that is appropriate for you and your condition. I am very happy to work with a client alongside their Naturopath or Herbalist as well as their Medical Doctors.
